Props

Props will be important because they show what type of characteristics the character has, they will also help create the atmosphere.

one prop we will use will be a smartphone such as an Iphone or a Blackberry this will be carried by the smart business man. This will link with the suit as it gives him a higher status. This character will be looking at his phone when he is walking through the forest in this scene we will also be showing crows as it will create an eerie atmosphere.

We will also be using a vehicle such as a van or car. A white van would be ideal to use as it will create a mysterious atmosphere and an ideal kidnapping however it may be inconvenient to use one so we could also just use a car.

Another prop we will use is a chair and rope. Because the smart business man will be tied up. This will make it have the conventions of a psychological thriller. It will make the scene more suspenseful and thrilling. This will be in the warehouse in this scene we will also show the number 3.13 as it will create suspense and links in with the psychological element of the film.

We will also be using a weapon such as a baseball bat or gun. I think by using a baseball bat it will make the scene more authentic and real, and will make it a bit different from other films were they just use guns. A baseball bat is also quite brutal but it is important we do not use weapons such as a chainsaw as that would be to brutal and make it a horror film.

We will also being using a bed and an alarm clock in the final scene. The alarm clock will show the time 3.13 as it will link to a scene earlier in the opening.
